On Wednesday October 28 Project Heal and Protect (Poloketi Toe Fa’alelei ma Puipuia) formally kicked into gear with a charity golf tournament at the Miramar Golf Course. The event, organised by Wellington businessmen, Ian Clinac, and Steven McLauchlan, saw a large contingent of rugby and league greats from Auckland and Wellington team up with Wellington businessmen to play a round.
The day was a huge success with over $40,000 raised. All of this money, like all funds raised, will go into the Project Heal and Protect Charitable Trust.
